Student Clubs
Goal:
The Student Clubs liaison partners with Campolindo’s Leadership class members and teacher to support the over 100 student-formed and student run clubs on campus.
Primary Activities:
Campo’s Parents Club helps to finance many of these clubs’ monetary needs and:
Coordinates with Leadership class teacher
Reviews student club applications and “constitutions” (mission and governance statements) with student leadership to approve qualifications for club formation and to determine allocation of Parent Club budget to each student club.
Gain board approval of student clubs line item budget and recommended allocation of budget by club.
Handle these responsibilities both for fall and spring club formation”
Key Dates:
September (Date TBD): Club applications due including constitution, budget and teacher advisor confirmation.
September (Date TBD): Club day! Learn about and join clubs!
September (Date TBD): Parent Club liaison meets with clubs who are requesting funds from CPC to help determine allocation of budget.
October: Proposed allocation of budget is developed
November CPC board meeting: vote by board to approve allocation of Club budget
December: disbursement of Club funds to clubs per budget allocation
