Verification takes time—please plan ahead. Nonprofit contacts cannot verify all hours in one day.

For those students who are volunteering through BTC, NCL, or Lion’s Heart, please log your hours in Helper Helper as a lump sum and attach an image or scan of your verification letter.

Campo Volunteer Service Award

Students with 30+ verified hours in Helper Helper will automatically receive the award. Recipients will be notified via email in May. Awards will be distributed before finals.

Rising Seniors – New Service Award Opportunity: Excellence in Community Service Award

One-time award during high school Recognition: Graduation honor cord
Requirements:300+ service hours over four years or Three Presidential Volunteer Service Awards (PVSA) at any level

Campolindo Volunteer Service Awards | 2025-2026

The goal of this program is to celebrate volunteerism and recognize those students who have given many hours of their time volunteering for charitable activities in our community and abroad. Campolindo students are encouraged to make a difference in their communities through volunteerism. Students who complete the required hours may qualify for one of the following awards:

Campolindo Service Award: Awarded to students who complete 30 or more hours during 12 months.
President’s Volunteer Service Award: This award is currently on pause. The district is exploring alternatives.
Excellence in Community Service: Granted once during high school, Recognition: Graduation honor cord for 300+ service hours over four years or for current seniors graduating in 2026: three PVSA awards at any level.

New for 2025-2026: Helper Helper App for Hour Tracking

Beginning June 1, 2025, all volunteer hours must be logged, verified, and submitted using the Helper Helper app.

Submit your name and email using this link and follow the directions from there.

If students do not receive a welcome email from Helper Helper within the week, they can use the “Forgot Password” function to receive a temporary password via text and complete setup.

Instructions:
1. Log all volunteer hours in the Helper Helper app.
2. Ensure your hours are verified by your supervising organization.
3. Review the Service Award Instructions and Guidelines for full instructions
4. For those students who have 30 or more hours logged and approved on Helper Helper, you will automatically receive a Campo Volunteer Service Award. You will be notified of this award via email in May and awards will be handed out before finals.

(For students who log hours thru BTC or NCL, you will still create a Helper Helper account, but all hours can be submitted together for the year as long as a copy of the verification letter from the organization is attached.)
