News and Announcements

URGENT: HELP WITH FOOD FOR THE SENIOR CELEBRATION! November 30 is almost here and we still need food donations. Please consider donating here.

URGENT: CAMPO HOLIDAY COOKIE & TREAT EVENT Join the holiday fun! We would love to thank each of our 150 staff with a plate of 2 dozen homemade cookies and treats. For this event to be a success, we need 160 volunteers to donate 2 dozen cookies or treats on Thursday, December 8 by 9am to the staff conference room. Ten volunteers are also needed to help assemble the plates of cookies from 9:00am-12:00pm on Thursday, December 8. Thanks in advance for joining the fun! Sign up here.

URGENT: CAMPO FINALS FUEL We have less than two weeks to go and are still 2500 snacks ($970) away from our goal! We are 100% parent supported, so please sign up to donate snacks by ordering directly from the online registry or by donating money through Venmo (@Randi-Kofman) or PayPal (@RandiKofman). This is a quick and rewarding way to support and encourage all students during a stressful time. Any questions, contact Randi Kofman.

CANNED FOOD DRIVE Campo's annual Canned Food Drive is underway. There are bins located in E9, you can write a check directly to the Contra Costa Food Bank and send it with your child, or you can donate here virtually. Each 5th period class competes for prizes, so be sure to ask your student if they would like you to put their 5th period teacher in the comments section. The Food Bank let us know that they are seeing 80,000 more people use their services and inflation has really impacted people's ability to make sure their families can eat enough this holiday season. Any and all donations are appreciated. Questions, contact Lindsay Webb-Peploe.

FRESHMAN MOVIE NIGHT This Thursday, the Freshman Class Officers are running a movie night in the library, showing Top Gun: Maverick. All freshmen are invited, starts at 6:30pm.

TOYS FOR TOTS Campolindo's Leadership is running a Toys for Tots Drive for the next two weeks. Bring new, unwrapped toys to the boxes to the office and all toys will be donated.

SAVE THE DATE!! The Campo Jazz Band presents their annual Jazz Dinner Dance on Saturday, February 11, 2023. This is a wonderful fundraiser for the jazz band and will be held at Creekside Commons in Lafayette. Tickets include dinner, plus we will have raffles and a silent auction. If you haven’t heard our jazz band perform, you are in for a treat, as they are fantastic. Click here to hear one of their songs from the fall pops concert.

CULTIVATE THINKING CLUB TAKES OFF This student run Campo Club creates a space for high school students to meet with their younger peers to discuss diverse topics in a fun and engaging way. Across the Moraga School District, students are expressing a desire to be more aware and inclusive of their peers and neighbors. The Cultivate Thinking Club is addressing this need with great success. Miramonte High School also started a branch of the Cultivate Thinking Club this year.
