We've designed this site as a place to easily find Campo information, news and announcements. We hope you find it a useful resource during your time at Campo!

The goal of the Campolindo Parents Club is to:

  • help enhance the Campo educational experience

  • support student welfare and connectedness

  • promote an equitable learning environment

  • serve as a communication and educational platform for our parent community.

FINALS WEEK, MAY 23-26

CAMPOLINDO WELLNESS CENTER


The Wellness Center will close after finals end on 5/25 for summer break. We will reopen on the first day of school in August! Here are some resources that may be available to you until school resumes.


Mental Health/Support Services: These agencies and organizations offer counseling and support spaces for a variety of needs.

  • The Wright Institute: offers counseling support; call (510) 548-9716 to schedule an appointment

  • Contra Costa Crisis Center: offers a variety of services that include grief support, homeless services, crisis response and family support. Call 211 or (800) 833-2900.

  • Hospice of East Bay: offers grief counseling; call (925) 887-5681

  • PFLAG: offers support for LGBTQ+ persons, allies, and family members. Get in touch at pflaglamorinda@gmail.com or call (925) 268-8114.

Crisis Talk Lines: These resources are available 24/7 to offer support.

  • Say Something App: provides live support if you have concern for yourself or others.

CAMPOLINDO LEADERSHIP UPDATES


CAMPOLINDO LEADERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • CAMPO CROSS COUNTRY SUMMER CAMP 2022 Students interested in the fall 2022 cross country season are encouraged to join their teammates this summer at the HSU Running Camp from July 17 through July 22. Registration is now open! Details here.

  • DONATIONS FOR UKRAINE There are drop boxes in A-hall where you can drop off new, unused, and unopened medical supplies that will be donated to Ukrainian citizens. Any questions, contact Alexis Doyle.

  • CAMPO LIVE MUSIC CLUB is hosting its final "Local Talent Open Mic" of the year at Canyon Club Brewery on May 22, 2-4pm. If you would like to perform, contact Mr. Duffy.

  • YEARBOOKS will be distributed on Wednesday, May 18 in the MUR.

  • CLASS OF 2023 Time to start thinking of taking your senior/graduation portraits for the yearbook. Make an appointment with Studio One to reserve the best time for you. Studio photo sessions are free and your photo goes in the yearbook.


STANLEY JAZZ CAFE, MAY 20TH


The Stanley Jazz Cafe is back and Campo's Jazz Band will be performing! Please join us on Friday, May 20th, 5:30pm, at Stanley Middle School to enjoy some live jazz music performed by our local school bands. Stanley Jazz Bands, Acalanes Jazz Ensemble, Campolindo Jazz Band, and many more will be coming together for an evening of music and to honor Mr. Bob Athayde after 35 years of inspirational service to the Lamorinda Community.


This is a free event to celebrate the arts and of course, Mr. Athayde. Come out and support our young musicians!


There will be food trucks beginning at 5:00pm, so come out, have some dinner, and enjoy the show!


CAMPOLINDO LEC

The Community Outreach committee organized a Women’s History Month panel and held a financial literacy workshop with a focus on the gender wage gap. Communications and Public Relations are holding interviews for potential members next year. Restorative Justice is planning the Freshman Orientation for next year and expanding the efforts to include Frosh Fridays. They are also working on an Athletic Leadership Council and a Student Union. The Education committee held a celebration of Black Excellence in the arts in collaboration with BSU and orchestra. They also organized Persian New Year and Spring Equinox Week celebrations and a Holi Color Toss! There will be a diversity summit on Monday 4/18 and an equity lesson in late April. The district has a webpage set up to provide all the latest health and safety information for our community, including a dashboard that contains data on positive cases and numbers quarantined. Numbers are updated weekly. Click here to see the latest information.

DNI UPDATES


VOLUNTEERING IS PART OF SEEKING DIVERSITY One of our ongoing efforts to create a more equitable and compassionate society is for D&I to offer volunteering opportunities for Campo students: St Mary’s Center in Oakland has reopened their commercial kitchen for groups to cook and serve meals again. Get a group of friends together or take your sports teams and sign up. If you have questions or need assistance, contact Cathy Chang or Louise Laemmlen.

MEF UPDATES


MEF ONLINE AUCTION IS OPEN! Check out the many exciting items available for bidding, including the coveted Campo parking passes! There are items in the following categories: Travel & Events; Sports & Memorabilia; Kids & Family; Dining; Fashion, Jewelry & Accessories; Health, Beauty & Services; and Art and Photography. MEF AUCTION GALA IS SOLD OUT The MEF Auction Gala will take place on April 30at the Diablo Country Club. The event is sold out, but you may request to be added to the waiting list by emailing MEFSpecialEvents@gmail.com.
