CAMPOLINDO WELLNESS CENTER

NEW: BE KIND WEEK - SEPTEMBER 8-12
Join us this week in the Wellness Center in celebrating Be Kind Week! Each day focuses on spreading kindness in a unique way. The details are under the announcements section in this newsletter.

SUICIDE PREVENTION & AWARENESS MONTH
September is Suicide Prevention & Awareness Month, a time to recognize the important role families and schools play in supporting student well-being. One of the most effective methods of preventing suicide is through open, non-judgmental conversations about mental health which help students feel heard and supported. When teens feel valued at home, at school, and in their community, they are more likely to reach out for help. Reducing stigma and ensuring access to professional mental health services further strengthen our ability to care for every student.

To foster belonging and connection, our Wellness team invites students to participate in Be Kind Week and the September 10 Club Day.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please call or text the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988 for immediate support or use the anonymous Say Something App. To learn more about teen suicide prevention, you can check out this article from the Mayo Clinic.
