We recommend families use a College Cost Calculator to help determine which schools are financially a good fit. More information on the college and career process can be found on College & Career 101. Please feel free to make an appointment with us on the Campo College/Career Website, Campo College Calendly links and check out "Upcoming Events." If you don’t intend to apply to college, we would love to help you map out your post-graduation plans - make an appointment in College/Career, if you have any questions.

CAMPOLINDO WELLNESS CENTER

Starting next Monday, 8/25, Wellness will become a NO PHONE ZONE at all times. Phones must be put away during class, brunch, lunch, passing periods, Academy, and before school. This change is meant to protect student privacy and confidentiality, encourage comfortable access to Wellness services, and create a space to unplug from screens.

We will be hosting two lunchtime activities next week:

Marine Monday- Every Monday the Wellness Center streams live footage of the Monterey Bay Aquarium at lunch. Research has shown that viewing videos of nature activates the parasympathetic nervous system, leading to reduced cortisol levels and improved emotional regulation, thereby supporting positive mental health outcomes--The otters are pretty cute to watch, too!

Tune In Tuesday- Join us as we listen to the ten songs Mindlab International has designated as the most effective at reducing stress and improving relaxation. The playlist is also available for independent listening on Spotify.

Wellness will be open during Back-to-School Night next Thursday 8/28 to welcome Campolindo families who would like to tour the space or learn more about the center.

WELLNESS CENTER RESOURCES
If your student is experiencing difficulty with grief and loss, do not hesitate to reach out to Wellness, school counselors, or administrators. You can also access resources HERE and through the Contra Costa Crisis Center.

For information and details regarding programming, support groups, and educational opportunities, visit our webpage or follow us on Instagram @campowellness.
