NEW: CRITICALLY IMPORTANT - MEASURE W!
Campolindo has experienced significant cuts in the past couple of years because of inadequate funding - that means fewer class offerings, larger class sizes, one librarian shared by 4 high schools, and fewer academic counselors. We feel the impact. But there is something we can do about it. Measure W is on the November 3 ballot. It will generate $6M a year for our high schools if it passes. If it doesn’t pass, more cuts are coming. Be a part of the solution and visit www.yesforourhighschools.com to endorse, get a yard sign, donate to the campaign, or volunteer. A YES vote on Measure W is a YES for Campo!

NEW: FALL STUDENT INTERNSHIP & VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Gain hands-on leadership, public policy, and outreach experience with a local ballot campaign this fall! It’s a flexible way to boost college applications and resumes—no prior experience required. Expect ~3–5 hours per week from September through November 3, with both flexible internship roles and one-off tasks available. Review the Info Sheet and submit the Interest Form by the August 31 deadline. A volunteer training session will take place in the coming weeks for all registrants. For any questions, contact Liz Daoust at liz.daoust@gmail.com.

NEW: CAMPO MUSIC BOOSTER NEWS!
Music families, thank you to everyone who joined our Boosters general meeting and the potluck. Our next Music Boosters general meeting will be on September 8th from 6:30–7:15pm in the library.

NEW: CPC STUDENT/FAMILY DIRECTORY LIVE IN MID-SEPTEMBER!

We recommend families use a College Cost Calculator to help determine which schools are financially a good fit. More information on the college and career process can be found on College & Career 101. Please feel free to make an appointment with us on the Campo College/Career Website, Campo College Calendly links and check out "Upcoming Events." If you don’t intend to apply to college, we would love to help you map out your post-graduation plans - make an appointment in College/Career, if you have any questions.

The Wellness Center is excited to welcome students and families to a new school year! We are open from 8am through the end of the school day. Students can stop by for a wellness break, a cup of tea, or to speak with one of our counselors.

This year the Wellness Center is offering students new opportunities to develop leadership skills, make a positive impact on campus, and support the well-being of their peers. Through our student-led clubs, participants build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and help create a more connected and healthy school community. Students interested in joining any of these clubs are encouraged to stop by the Wellness Center for more information.

Bring Change to Mind (BC2M) is part of a national movement to end the stigma surrounding mental health. Members promote open conversations about mental wellness, foster peer support, build resilience, and lead campus-wide awareness events throughout the year. The club meets every other Wednesday.

Protect Your Game is a new leadership opportunity designed for student-athletes. Members learn the latest research on how alcohol and other substances affect athletic performance and overall health, then share that knowledge with teammates and peers to promote informed, healthy choices. The club meets every other Wednesday.

T.U.P.E. (Tobacco Use Prevention Educators) empowers students to become advocates for a tobacco-free and nicotine-free campus. Through presentations, awareness campaigns, and peer education, members help promote healthy choices and positive school culture. Sponsored by the Contra Costa County Office of Education, the club meets once a month.
