ANNOUNCEMENTS MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL ROBYN HARRISON As we wrap up our first week, we just want to say thank you. Whether you helped run Cougar Day for our students or dropped off treats for our staff on the first day of school, your support didn't go unnoticed and we are extremely grateful. Thank you especially to the many parents who helped make Cougar Day happen, and to everyone who came out to our 9th Grade Parent Orientation. Your presence and care for our students is what makes Campo special. Looking ahead, we've got a lot coming up: our first all-school dance was this Friday, Back to School Night will be on the 27th with our first rally and home football game on the 28th. Please continue to read the upcoming events below as we are a busy campus! That said, your students have been a joy to have in class and around campus, and we're proud of how they've started the year. Thank you for trusting us to guide them through this next chapter. Whatever stage of high school your student is in, we're glad to be walking alongside your family this year — and we're looking forward to what's ahead. MORAGA EDUCATION FOUNDATION MEF 2026-2027 GIVING CAMPAIGN Did you know that even with parcel tax revenue, Campolindo receives $3,924 LESS in funding per student than the AVERAGE high school in California? ATHLETICS NEWS CAMPO ATHLETICS -- HEAD COACH CONTACTS NEW: CAB MEMBERSHIP GEAR FINAL PICK-UP – WEDNESDAY, SEPT 16, AT 3PM Attention Family, Silver, Gold, and Platinum CAB Members! Our final merchandise pick-up will be on Wednesday, September 16, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Campo MUR. This is your last opportunity to collect your physical gear, as any items not retrieved by 4:00 PM will be automatically donated back to CAB. ATHLETIC REGISTRATION FOR '26/'27 SCHOOL YEAR Athletic Registration for the '26/'27 school year will open on June 1, 2026 on Sportsnet. Physicals for next school year must be dated after June 1, 2026. CAMPOLINDO WELLNESS CENTER NEW: THIS WEEK’S EVENTS IN WELLNESS! The mission of Campolindo is to inspire and empower every student by fostering belonging, wellbeing and accountability in an equitable learning environment. Students are invited to join us in Wellness as we celebrate that mission during Be Kind Week! - Mon. 8/17: Put the "I" in KIND photo op!

The Wellness Center is excited to welcome students and families to a new school year! We are open from 8am through the end of the school day. Students can stop by for a wellness break, a cup of tea, or to speak with one of our counselors. This year the Wellness Center is offering students new opportunities to develop leadership skills, make a positive impact on campus, and support the well-being of their peers. Through our student-led clubs, participants build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and help create a more connected and healthy school community. Students interested in joining any of these clubs are encouraged to stop by the Wellness Center for more information. Bring Change to Mind (BC2M) is part of a national movement to end the stigma surrounding mental health. Members promote open conversations about mental wellness, foster peer support, build resilience, and lead campus-wide awareness events throughout the year. The club meets every other Wednesday. Protect Your Game is a new leadership opportunity designed for student-athletes. Members learn the latest research on how alcohol and other substances affect athletic performance and overall health, then share that knowledge with teammates and peers to promote informed, healthy choices. The club meets every other Wednesday. T.U.P.E. (Tobacco Use Prevention Educators) empowers students to become advocates for a tobacco-free and nicotine-free campus. Through presentations, awareness campaigns, and peer education, members help promote healthy choices and positive school culture. Sponsored by the Contra Costa County Office of Education, the club meets once a month. WELLNESS CENTER RESOURCES If your student is experiencing difficulty with grief and loss, do not hesitate to reach out to Wellness, school counselors, or administrators.
