MORAGA EDUCATION FOUNDATION NEW: THANK YOU ELIZABETH KALPAKJIAN Campo parent, Elizabeth Kalpakjian, has been involved in MEF for over a decade. Her passion for our schools and her impact on MEF's fundraising and community outreach is incalculable. At the end of this year, she is wrapping up her role as Campo MEF Outreach Coordinator and is rolling off the MEF Board of Directors. She promises she will still stay involved, and we will hold her to that! If you see Elizabeth, please thank her for her commitment to our schools! NEW: JOIN OUR CAMPO/MEF TEAM! MEF has redesigned its Ambassador program for the 2026-2027 year. Ambassadors will no longer be sending emails... they will now receive training on school funding and MEF operations and will act as a source of information for people in their communities as well as a source of feedback for MEF. This is a perfect job for someone who is passionate about our public schools, is curious to learn more, but doesn't necessarily have a lot of time to give. The time commitment is only 6-20 hours per year depending on your availability. Read the job description here. Jessica Kitigawa will be the Lead Ambassador at Campolindo. If you are interested in joining the MEF/Campo team, fill out this form and we will be in touch in the fall! NEW: CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2026! The MEF Board of Directors, Volunteers, and Staff would like to offer a hearty congratulations to the Class of 2026. It's been an honor to watch you take advantage of all of the opportunities offered at our public schools, and we can't wait to see what you do next! NEW: LET'S GET CAMPO TO 50% PARTICIPATION! Only 46% of Campo families have participated in this year's MEF Giving Campaign. We know that Campo families care deeply about their students' education, and if you haven't yet contributed, we ask you to make a donation of any amount today. Every dollar makes a difference as we strive to maximize our grants to Campolindo, and a strong participation rate will show the AUHSD Governing Board how much our community values the programs we are at risk of losing after Measure T failed. You can make a contribution here or if you want to make your contribution in honor of Principal Alvarez, you can do that here. Thank you for joining us in supporting every Campo student, every day! THANK YOU PRINCIPAL ALVAREZ Thank Principal Alvarez with a gift to MEF in his honor. Make your donation in his honor here before the end of the school year, and your donation will be designated to Campolindo, and your name will be included on a card to Mr. Alvarez thanking him for all he's done for Campo during the last four years. If you would prefer to make your gift through the regular donation form, you can do that here. Thank you for supporting Campolindo! Learn more at moragaeducation.org. |
