COLLEGE ADMISSIONS REMINDERS

ACCEPTED STUDENT DAYS: Many universities offer an accepted student day to help students make their decisions. As the final decisions are released throughout February and March, be sure to check your portals for announcements about these events to help you make the most informed decision.

HOUSING DEPOSITS: Some universities encourage students to put down a housing deposit prior to the May 1 National Decision Day. This can be advantageous in the housing lottery especially at schools where housing is impacted. Check your portals to see if this is the case at your top school, as you wait for remaining admissions decisions to come in.

WRITE YOUR THANK YOU NOTES TO TEACHERS FOR LORs: If you didn’t get to this over break, we have Thank You cards available in CCC if you would like to come by during lunch or 7th period to write a note of appreciation to the teacher(s) who took time to write you a letter of recommendation.

HAVE YOU BEEN WAITLISTED? Please check out the information here for guidance and schedule an appointment with College & Career Counselor if you have questions.
