NEW: PREPARING STUDENTS FOR FUTURE - AUHSD's APPROACH TO AI LITERACY
Associate Superintendent John Walker shared the AUHSD's strategy and guidance on Artificial Intelligence at the recent CPC meeting. The presentation covers AI literacy and next steps, including the plan for student access to secure generative AI tools like Gemini and NotebookLM. Here is the link to the full presentation.

NEW: CAMPO'S JOURNALISM PROGRAM
Campo’s journalism program, The Claw, is hoping to produce a total of five issues this year; however, we only have the budget for four. We would greatly appreciate any donations to our website to help make this goal possible, and you can get a physical copy or check out our online edition of our second issue of the year here.

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to the Teacher Appreciation Holiday Cookie Trays! The trays turned out fantastic, thanks to all of your hard work, and were so very much appreciated by our beloved teachers. A special thank you to our Cookie Tray Chairs, Tina Anderson and Malorie Stuart, for all their time planning and coordinating this effort. The Campolindo Parent community is truly special and we are so grateful!

NEW: CAMPO PARENT EDUCATION VIRTUAL EVENT - FROM LEARNER'S PERMIT TO SAFE DRIVER - WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 14, 6:30PM - 8PM
Join the new Campolindo Parent Education Virtual Event - From Learner’s Permit to Safe Driver on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM, focused on safe teen driving! Partnering with the CHP and Impact Teen Drivers, this webinar will equip you with strategies and processes—including GDL laws—to help your teen driver stay safe on the road. Parents are the number one influencers of teen driving behavior, making this a crucial event for parents of all teens, whether they have their permit or license. The Zoom link will be emailed Jan 13. CAMPO ATHLETICS UPSTANDING ATHLETE AWARD -- NOMINATION FORM
The Upstanding Athlete Award is a chance to recognize the amazing things that our athletes do outside of their athletic achievements. Beyond just winning games, Campolindo athletics also strives to create athletes who are upstanding leaders in our community. This award is a way for fellow athletes, coaches, and parents to nominate athletes to be recognized for the great things they are doing off of the field and court.

NEW: FINALS WEEK
Remember to take care of your mental health during finals! The Wellness Center will be open for drop-ins during finals week for anyone who needs to take a moment to recharge, talk to someone, or just relax.

NEW: SUPPORT OVER BREAK
As a reminder, the Wellness Center will be closed 12/19-1/7. Here are some resources that offer support for students over break:

  • 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988 for 24/7 free and confidential support for anyone in distress.
  • Contra Costa Crisis Center: Call 800-833-2900, text 'HOPE' to 20121, or dial 211 for immediate emotional support and local resource referrals.
  • A3 Miles Hall Crisis Call Center: For behavioral health crises, call 844-844-5544 to connect with Contra Costa County's 24/7 mobile crisis response team.
  • California Youth Crisis Line: Youth aged 12–24 can call 800-843-5200 for 24/7 confidential support statewide.
  • Teen Line: Teens can call 800-852-8336 from 6–10 PM PST or text 'TEEN' to 839863 from 6–9 PM PST to speak with trained teen listeners.
  • LGBT National Youth Talk-line: Call 800-246-7743 for peer support tailored to LGBTQ+ youth.

Many teens experience stress, anxiety, and pressure to balance school, friends, and responsibilities. To make mental health support more accessible, we’re sharing Soluna—a free and confidential app offering coping tools, guided activities, and access to professional mental health coaches. NEW: SAVE THE DATE - SENIOR BREAKFAST - FRIDAY, JANUARY 9, 7:30AM
Join us for Senior Breakfast on January 9 at 7:30 a.m. in the MUR! Come grab pancakes, bagels, donuts, sausage, bacon, and hot cocoa while hanging out with your friends before school. 
We’re also trying to round up a few portable pancake griddles to keep the pancakes flowing. If you’ve got one we can borrow, please email Molly Guthrie at molly.guthrie@hotmail.comIt’s going to be a fun morning—hope to see you there!

Please be sure your student is logging into the portals from each of the schools they applied to. Use Portals to: Confirm materials received/missing, decisions, special scholarship opportunities. Stay organized by keeping a separate spreadsheet with login and passwords for each school. If you have questions or need help, stop by the CCC for support.
