MORAGA EDUCATION FOUNDATION

PARTICIPATION LEVELS
The school with the highest participation rate at the end of the Giving Campaign wins the Family Participation Trophy! Participation rates as of 9/30/25 are: CP: 36%, Campo: 29%, LP: 29%, JM: 27%, Rheem: 21%. Thank you to all of the families who have participated. If you haven’t participated yet, you can increase your school’s participation rate by contributing to the MEF Giving Campaignhere!

FUNDING GAP
At Campolindo, it costs $19,683 to educate a student, but we only receive $15,632 from the government. Our local community supports schools through parcel taxes, which provide an additional $1,960 per student. That leaves a $2,091 gap per student that we need to fill as a community. We know this is a big ask, and we hope families will contribute an amount that is meaningful to them. MEF’s goal is 100% participation, because when every family joins in, we show that we believe in protecting the excellence of our schools and the community we all cherish.

WHO ELSE CAN HELP?
Every year, hundreds of community members, grandparents, and other relatives of students contribute to support the education of students in Moraga. If you know someone who doesn’t currently have a student in Moraga’s schools, but would like to support your student’s education, invite them to become a Friend of Moraga Schools with a contribution to the
MEF Giving Campaign today!
